At this year’s Starlight Auction (August 9th) we will be auctioning Truck Number 3462, a 4-wheel drive brush truck.
It is a 1991 Ford F350 4WD vehicle with a 150 gallon per minute pump and a 300 gallon water tank. The engine is a 7.3-liter Cummings Diesel and the truck has less than 20,000 miles on it! It has an automatic transmission, dual rear wheels and a winch. Because it has 4-wheel drive, it can get into marginally accessible places on your property. The truck is in excellent shape but we are required to retire apparatus that is over 20 years old.
Other details: The torque converter needs replacing and we estimate the part costs $150, though the labor to do the work would need to be quoted professionally. Though the photos show the truck with Fire Department emergency-light bars, these will be removed prior to sale (they are not legal for civilian trucks).
